South on the Garden State Parkway (From New York):

Take Exit #30 (Somers Point/Ocean City) off the Garden State Parkway. Continue straight after going through the toll on Laurel Avenue. Laurel Avenue turns into MacArthur Blvd after crossing Route 9. Stay on MacArthur Blvd until you reach the intersection of Shore Road, Route 52 and Somers Point/Mays Landing Road. Turn Left onto Shore Road. (This is right before you go over the bridge into Ocean City, NJ) Take an immediate Right onto Bay Avenue. Follow Bay Avenue for 8 blocks. The Playhouse is on the corner of Bay and Higbee Avenues. Free parking is directly across the street from the Playhouse at the corner of Higbee and Bay, or take a right onto Higbee and you may also park in the Beach Parking Lot.

North on the Garden State Parkway (From Cape May):

Take Exit #29 off of the Garden State Parkway onto New Road. Take a Right onto Somers Point/Mays Landing Road. Take an immediate Right onto Bay Avenue after crossing the intersection of MacArthur Blvd, Route 52 and Somers Point/Mays Landing Road. Follow Bay Avenue for 8 blocks. The Playhouse is on the corner of Higbee and Bay Avenues. Free Parking is directly across the street from the Playhouse at the corner of Higbee and Bay, or take a right onto Higbee and you may also park in the Beach Parking Lot.

East from Philadelphia on the Atlantic City Expressway:

I-76 East over the Walt Whitman Bridge. I-76 turns into I-42 East. Exit left onto the Atlantic City Expressway (East) take exit #75 onto the Garden State Parkway South (Follow above directions South).

Airports servicing the area:

Atlantic City Airport is located approximatly 30 minutes from the Gateway Playhouse and the Philadelphia International Airport is approximately a 1.5 hour drive from the Gateway Playhouse.

Parking:

There are (2) Free Parking lots located directly accross the street from the Gateway Playhouse. One on the NW corner of Bay and Higbee Avenues, and one at the Beach Parking Lot, located on the SE corner of Bay and Higbee Avenues. Street parking is also available.

Another Free Parking lot is located on the corner of Somers and Bay Avenues, approximately 5 blocks from the Playhouse.

Paid Parking is available at the Shore Medical Parking Structure on the corner of Bay and Harbor Avenues, approximately 5 blocks from the Gateway Playhouse.
